What's involved?
There's actually quite a bit involved in running a website and often potential clients are suprised at what needs to be done.
We begin with a free one hour consultation with you to ascertain your requirements. Here we discuss your target audience, your preferences for colours, style, layout and content and devise a brief that will be the basis of your website.
During this consultation we will ask you to answer a series of questions that help us get a better idea of your objectives. This is a very important part of the process, because without your website working to promote your services, the exercise becomes pointless.
How much?
Of course, everyone wants to know how much it's going to cost. It is possible to run a site on a very small budget, beginning with a self-build package using our Sitebuilder software, which comes pre-installed with all of our web hosting plans. This is often the starting point for many customers and from there your site can grow to meet your online needs.
Can I make changes myself?
All websites we build can be edited by you, the customer, with a number of Content Management options available, but it's not obligatory... you can leave that to us if you wish.
Can I sell stuff online?
E-commerce facilities with secure online transaction processing are becoming more prevalent and Eastcoast IT provides all the components necessary to establish your online store.
Is there anything else?
Other components you will need are Website Hosting and Domain Name Registration. Eastcoast IT will add these to our cost estimate so you won't get any nasty surprises when it's time to go live. Click on the links to learn more.
